khursheed Sons Air Travel & Tours is asked one question more than any other: what does Umrah actually cost from Pakistan? This page answers it honestly — the real ranges for 2026, what sits behind the number, and why two packages advertised at the same price can be very different trips.
Umrah package price in Pakistan: the 2026 range
Across the Pakistani market, a complete Umrah package — visa, return flights, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and ground transport — generally falls between PKR 200,000 and PKR 350,000 per person. Economy options on longer stays with four sharing can sit below that. Packages with hotels inside a few hundred metres of the Haram, or travel during Ramadan, sit well above it.
Two honest caveats. First, these are ranges, not quotes: airfare and hotel rates move week to week. Second, the headline price on any website is almost always the cheapest room configuration in the cheapest month. Ask for a quote against your dates and your room preference.
What you are actually paying for
Four things drive nearly the whole price:
- Hotel distance from the Haram. The single biggest lever. Walking distance costs more than shuttle distance, and the premium is steepest inside 500 metres.
- Duration. Every extra night is another night of hotel. A 21-day package is not three times a 7-day one, because the airfare is fixed — but the hotel portion scales directly.
- Room sharing. Quad, triple, double or single. A quad splits the room four ways; a double splits it two, and costs close to twice as much per person.
- Departure city and airline. Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad price differently, and a direct flight costs more than one with a stop.
Umrah package price by duration
Shorter trips concentrate the cost into airfare; longer trips into hotels. A 7 to 10 day package suits travellers with limited leave and a fixed budget. A 14 or 15 day package is the common middle ground. A 21 day package gives the longest time in both cities and, on a per-night basis, is usually the best value — which is why it remains popular with families travelling together.
khursheed Sons Air Travel & Tours currently focuses on longer-stay packages, where the per-night value is strongest. If you need a shorter duration, contact us and we will quote it for your dates.
Umrah cost by departure city
The package itself does not change between cities — the airfare does. Flights from Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan and Sialkot vary by route and airline, and a Riyadh or Dammam stopover is usually cheaper than a direct Jeddah service. If your dates are flexible, ask us to price two or three departure options side by side.
Hotel distance: where the money really goes
If you compare only one thing between packages, compare metres from the Haram. Inside roughly 500 metres you can return to your room between prayers, which matters enormously for elderly travellers, families with small children, and anyone with limited mobility. Between 500 metres and 1 kilometre remains a comfortable walk. Beyond that you are relying on a shuttle, which is fine for a fit traveller on a budget and tiring for everyone else.
Watch for the phrase "or similar" next to a hotel name. It means the agency reserves the right to substitute another property. Ask what the alternatives are and how far they sit from the Haram.
Costs people forget to budget for
- Meals, where the package is room-only.
- Ziyarah tours, if charged separately.
- Excess baggage, particularly on the return.
- Gifts and personal spending — the most commonly underestimated item.
Is Umrah getting more expensive?
In rupee terms, yes — driven mainly by the exchange rate and by Saudi hotel rates near both Harams. The practical response is to book earlier for peak periods, and to be flexible on month where you can. Ramadan, and especially the last ten nights, carries a substantial premium.
Frequently asked questions
Umrah kitne ka hai? What does Umrah cost from Pakistan in 2026?
For most travellers, PKR 200,000 to PKR 350,000 per person for a standard package including flights, visa, hotels and transport. Below that usually means a shorter trip, a hotel further out, or more people sharing. Prices move with the season and exchange rate, so ask for a written quote for your dates.
What is included in an Umrah package?
Visa, return airfare, hotel nights in Makkah and Madinah, and ground transport. Ziyarah is sometimes included; meals are the most common exclusion. Ask for inclusions in writing.
Why is one package cheaper than another for the same number of days?
Almost always the hotel distance from the Haram, then room sharing, then airline and departure city.
What is the cheapest genuine Umrah package?
Longer stays, shuttle-distance hotels, four sharing, outside peak season. Be wary of prices far below market — check the named hotel, its distance in metres, and the room occupancy before paying.
