What to compare before you book
The single most useful figure in any Umrah package is not the price — it is the distance from the Haram. Inside 500 metres you can return to your room between prayers, which matters enormously for elderly travellers and families with young children. Between 500 metres and a kilometre is a comfortable walk for most people. Beyond about 1.5 kilometres you will rely on a shuttle.
After distance, the things that move the price are duration, how many people share a room, and your departure city. A quad room splits the cost four ways; a double splits it two and costs close to twice as much per person.
